L. R Hen Jago

A bilingual story book with the full story in both Spanish and English.

Little Red Hen finds some grains of wheat but when she asks the cat, the dog and the goose to help her plant them, they are all far too busy. When Little Red Hen has finally grown the wheat, harvested it, turned it into flour and baked the bread the others are more than happy to help her eat it - but who will she choose to share it with?

This is an invaluable story for helping young children to understand the importance of teamwork and helping others.

PENpal Talking Pen Enabled!

This is a classic children's story. The book is a good quality glossy finish with fairly robust pages. It is well laid out, and easy to read in English or in Spanish. The pictures may not be inspiring but they have a nice style, and clearly and generously illustrate the story. My 3yo daughter has resisted full Spanish sessions with this one so far so can't give her perspective.
