Ten Seeds in French
A very simple picture book following what happens to ten seeds that are planted in the ground. One by one they disappear until the remaining seed grows into a beautiful flower, which again produces more seeds and so the cycle continues.
This is great for teaching numbers 1 - 10 in French, basic subtraction skills, and also features animals and mini-beasts found in the garden.
Dix Petites Graines is written entirely in French but the language is very simple as it is aimed at young children.
Suggested age range:
Native French speaker: 3 - 5 years
Learners of French as an additional language: 3 - 8+ years
