Great for teaching French vocabulary for different animals, this is a simple French story with a difference. At the beginning of the book, we are introduced to lots of animals joining a queue... but what are they queuing for? The book follows them waiting in the queue - with funny snippets of how they themselves occupied while they wait - until a fold-out section in the middle of the book reveals the surprise and we find out what they're up to.
There are 50 different animals featured in this story so it is brilliant for learning the French names of a whole range of animals. The full list of animals is shown at the end of the book.
Faites la queue ! is written entirely in French as it is aimed at native French speakers. The language is fairly simple as it is aimed at young children.
