Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in French

Charlie finds the golden ticket that will allow him to fulfill his dream and visit Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Follow him and the other children in this famous and well-loved adventure.

Charlie et la Chocolaterie is intended for native French readers. It would suit a child aged 9+ if they were fluent in French. Otherwise, this would be excellent reading material for older students wanting something a little different, or perhaps for a fluent parent to read to a younger child.

Paperback, 224pp, 125 x 178mm

I purchased this as a birthday present for the 4-year-old son of a friend who is French but lives in London. It is too old for him at the moment, but can be read to him and hopefully will become a favourite as he grows older. I hardly need to review the book. The service was excellent and I received the book soon after ordering it. I will use Little Linguist again.

This is for my French nephew for Christmas. I hope he will enjoy it as I know the English version of the story and think it is very funny.
Paper could be thicker though.

I only had Grammar School level French lessons (which I enjoyed) and as I decided to brush up on my French (more challenging for the brain than crosswords) I was looking for a reading book at a reasonable level. I am finding this book fits the bill perfectly. Not too childish but putting the language into it's everyday use. Quite a lot I understand from my knowledge of French, but also introducing words and phrases into my vocabulary. More modern too from my schooldays. An excellent book for my purpose.
