Dans la galette, il y a ... is a simple story in French, in board-book format. Each double-page spread poses the question 'Qu'y a-t-il dans la galette?' and then suggests possible objects, all of which rhyme with 'galette'. The book concludes by explaining that none of these items are in a galette, instead there is a fève for the king or queen!
Dans la galette, il y a ... is written entirely in French but as it is aimed at young children, the langauge is very simple.
