A retelling in Spanish of the story of Saint George and the Dragon
A long time ago, a city was terrorised by a fierce and hungry dragon. The animals that the citizens of the town sacrificed weren't enough to keep the dragon's hunger at bay and he started eating a young girl each day too. When the time came for the dragon to eat the Princess, St George appeared on horseback and slayed the dragon, saving her and becoming the hero of the people.
San Jorge y el dragón is written entirely in Spanish as it is aimed at native Spanish speakers. It is written in caligraphic writing and is published in Spain so uses Castilian (European) Spanish.
