World Sing-Along is a collection of great songs from around the world that can easily be sung along with. Each of the songs featured on this CD have catchy melodies and rhyming lyrics that invite singing along, no matter what the language!
Some of them you will probably know already, others are new for this CD, including the last track, “Around the World,” which is performed by the Pihcintu Multicultural Children’s Choir, whose members are refugee girls, mostly from war-torn regions. Putumayo World Music will contribute $5,000 from sales of World Sing-Along during the period October 2012 through October 2014 to Population Services International (PSI) in support of its Five & Alive® campaign to ensure that all children have a healthy start to life, no matter where they are born.
