A game for learners of English as an additional Language, The Busy Day Dominoes will help you to learn vocabulary and grammar structures related to everyday actions. The game will help children to learn and conjugate 48 high-frequency English verbs (regular and irregular verbs) in the present, past and future forms.
Each domino has an illustrated action and a written phrase. Following the rules of dominoes, players match the pieces together by matching the pictures and sentences, conjugating the verb in the correct form. The teacher can decide which grammar tense to use and can thus change the level of difficulty.
The Busy Day Dominoes is aimed at learners of English as an additional language (EAL). It is aimed at those at levels A2-B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which is a higher beginner / lower intermediate level of language learning. It is published in Europe and uses British English.
