Heather Amery  / Stephen Cartwright

First Fun with French DVD is a beginner's guide to French for young children, based on the best-selling book Usborne First Hundred Words in French. Each scene in the DVD corresponds to a double-page spread in the book.

Follow Isabelle and her family as they go about their day. Isabelle's family do not speak English so she will translate everything for you. We join Isabelle and her brother, Pierre, as they wake up. After a chaotic breakfast, it's off to Grandma and Grandpa's. The a trip to the shops and a visit to the park introduces lots of familiar objects. After a busy and fun-filled day, it's home to play, bathtime and bed.

To add to the fun, there is a little   yellow duck™ to find in every scene.

First Fun with French DVD is intended for young children who are complete beginners to the French Language.

Suggested age range: 2 - 6 years

Our daughter loves this DVD, a really fun way to be introduced to French and the rest of the family enjoy watching it with her too.

My 2year old daughter speaks French quite well I taught her Italian and French by talking to her completely in the target language. That way of learning to me is not good there is way too much English and it my daughter watches it as a common english cartoon with some French in it. Very disappointing.

I recently bought First Fun With French. Mostly because we have holidayed in France for the past 4 years and intend to go again next year and so on. I wanted my little four year old girl to learn some French so she can ask for things in shops and say Thank You and speak to the French children.
She really likes the dvd and asks for it to be put on. She repeats the words and then tells her daddy them when he comes home from work!
Its easy for them to follow and the cartoons make it very child friendly.

A great way to teach children French without it seeming like they are "doing work".

A thoroughly entertaining video. My two year old daughter really loves it. I have purchased many French language teaching DVDís, and this is, by far, the best. I just wish there were a complete series going from this level to advanced.
