Overview

Great for beginners, this CD features English-Mandarin Chinese bilingual songs that teach the alphabet, counting, days of the week, months of the year, weather and seasons, colours, food, Chinese zodiac signs, the body, clothing and family in Mandarin Chinese.

Each of the songs is bilingual in presentation and features some lines sung in English, others in Mandarin Chinese so that children who are new to Mandarin Chinese can understand what they are singing about.

Children will enjoy singing and dancing to the activity-based songs and there are instrumental versions of all the songs for karaoke sessions!

Great fun. Catchy songs clearly sung.
One tiny niggle was the fact that there was no help with pronunciation in the booklet, but it made us listen even more carefully!
Good value

Songs fun and catchy without being annoying. Listen to it with my 3 month old baby. Too young to know if she's learning anything but wanted to get her used to the sounds. She loves it, and finds it relaxing, it sometimes even helps her sleep. We listen to it at least once a day.Great to have the book too, and I'm starting to pick some of it up.
