Good Night, Gorilla in French
"Good night, Gorilla ...", "Good night, Elephant ...".
The night watchman says good night to the animals as he finishes his rounds at the zoo. But Gorilla has other ideas, deftly pick-pocketing the watchman’s keys and letting himself out of his cage, whilst letting Elephant, Lion, Hyena, Giraffe and Armadillo out too! The weary watchman makes his way home and into bed . . . unaware that his friends from the zoo are right behind him!
This is a very simple story that is great for teaching animal names in French. The text is very simple with lots of repetition of the phrase 'Bonne nuit'.
Bonne nuit, petit gorille is written entirely in French as it is aimed at native speakers.Suggested age range (native French speaker): 3 - 6 years
