Overview

Baby's First Words in French is a great way to invigorate babies' minds and give them an extra edge for learning down the line. This easy-to-use and relaxing CD introduces your baby to French through sweet and soothing songs, rhymes, words and stories, all on one 60-minute CD.

Created by an expert in linguistics, this program is based on well-known and proven principles of language development in young children. Babies and toddlers have a natural gift for languages. They learn them effortlessly, and, unlike adults, they can make the sounds of any language in the world.

A fun and easy 80-page parents' guide is included to help parents understand how babies develop new language skills during the first 24 months of life. A 16-page lyric guide is also included so parents can join in too!

Guidance for Use

This product is suitable for use by a parent and baby with no previous knowledge of French. The program is easy to use in baby's nursery or on the go and will suit busy parents with little time to spare!

Baby's First Words in French

This CD and accompanying material is fabulous. I had been looking for a cd with popular French childrens songs but had been unable to find one, even in France! When I saw that the above was taylored especially for babies I jumped on it! It is fabulous. The CD has all the old faves and what is even more brilliant is that mum can sing along too as there is a booklet with all the words. Everything on the CD has a reason for being there and it has been interesting reading the theory behind it all. Would definately recommend to parents, even if they are non language speakers themselves.

My kids love to listen to this and it is one of the few kids cds that is pleasant to listen to as background music/sounds. Very soothing.
