Petit Pont is an exciting two-stage package of stunning, interactive materials for Primary French that will motivate even the most reluctant learners. The program is based around Petit-Pont, a virtual-reality French town. As children journey through the town of Petit Pont, their adventure takes them into new areas of language and culture through games, puzzles, poems and songs.

Petit Pont 1 &2 matches the QCA Scheme of Work, the MFL Framework for KS2 and the 5-14 Guidelines and is:

This package with bring learning French to life with stunning games-console-quality Virtual Reality graphics. Children can explore the little town of Petit Pont and meet Domino the Dog, Céline, Mathieu and all their friends. The CD-Rom provides the building blocks of language learning with a multitude of practice activities. As children succesfully progress through the activites, they are rewarded by the program opening up new levels of an exciting 3D Adventure Game!

Users can interact with the characters, play an adventure game and do more than 60 fun activities to help them learn French. There is also an opportunity to practice speaking exercises.

The classroom license is a complete package that includes the following resources:

This package is intended for use with KS2 children (7  - 11) who have already studied some French. Petit Pont 2 is best suited as a follow-on package for use with children who have already used Petit Pont 1.
