"Colour in Spanish" is suitable for early language learning. The level of language used in this book is fairly simple and each Spanish word or phrase is accompanied by an English translation.
The purpose of the book is to provide a fun way for the child to associate the Spanish words with the correct objects. It wouldn't be necessary for the child or parent to have previous knowledge of the language to benefit from the book in this context. However, there is no pronunciation guide included, so previous knowledge would be useful if wanting to read the words aloud.
