Tax-Free Shopping - Save up to 17.5%!! If we are sending your order to a country outside of the E.U. (regardless of where you normally live), your order is exempt from VAT (sales tax). As the prices on our website already include tax, this means that you will automatically receive a discount of 17.5% on the standard-rated goods in your order. VAT on books and book products is 0% so there will be no further discount on these items, but for anything that is normally taxed at 17.5% (e.g. games), the tax will be removed from your order as you check out. You can find out the tax rate of a product by looking at the information next to its "add to basket" button.
International delivery chargesWe try our best to keep delivery costs to a minimum as we appreciate that international shipping rates can be high and you'd rather be spending your money on fun language-learning resources that the costs of having them sent to you. Tips to keep delivery charges as low as possible: International customers may find the following tips useful on keeping shipping rates as low as possible: - Standard mail service has a maximum parcel weight of 2kg - anything heavier needs to be sent with a courier. If you are outside of Europe and ordering several items, it is often cheaper to ship two or more smaller parcels than one large parcel. Try splitting your order to see if you can make any savings.
- If your parcel is under 2kg and you are outside Europe, you will usually benefit from using the Economy Shipping service. Just beware that this service is slow (up to 8 weeks) but the savings can be significant.
- Books are heavy! All of our international shipping costs are based on weight. If you are finding the shipping cost really expensive, drop us an email with details of what's in your order and we'll let you know which item(s) is pushing the shipping charge up so much. Sometimes adding one single product can double the shipping charge.
- Don't forget that shipping charges are displayed as you add items to your basket - there is no need to log in or create an account. You can keep your eye on the shipping costs at all times while you are shopping. Don't forget to choose the correct shipping location from the drop-down box at the bottom of your basket!
Delivery TimesIn-stock items are normally despatched within 24 hours (Mon-Fri only, excluding holiday periods), but we cannot guarantee this service. Product availability is clearly displayed on the website as you add items to your basket. Should your order contain some out-of-stock items, we will hold your order until everything is in stock and ready to be despatched. If you wish to order a combination of in-stock and out-of stock products and don't wish to wait for everything to come into stock before despatch, please place separate orders for the in-stock and out-of-stock items.
