This new resource follows on from La Jolie Ronde Scheme of Work for French - Years 3 &4

Written by Rachel Redfearn of Wakefield Local Authority, the La Jolie Ronde Scheme of Work is a comprehensive scheme of work that has been written in accordance with the Key Stage 2 Framework for Modern Foreign Languages.

This scheme is ideal for non-specialists and includes very detailed lesson notes that have been written to support teachers with no previous experience of teaching foreign languages. More experienced teachers can use these as a guide only and adapt them to suit themselves.

The package includes:

Detailed lesson notes in a sturdy ring binder; these notes are also supplied on CD.
CD-Rom of resources and activities for use with the Interactive Whiteboard
Audio CD of songs and poems, Chante en Français 2, recorded by native French speakers.
2 x CDs of sound files for language support

The lessons are generally divided into 4 x 15 minute sessions to give maximum flexibility.

The whiteboard material is supplied on both SMART Notebook format (for use on SMART whiteboards only), and FLASH format (for use on ALL whiteboards).

Guidance for Use

Full teaching notes are provided and this is a suitable resource for a non-specialist teacher.
