Overview
Kleinbrücken is the name of the exciting new Primary German resource created by Manic Monkey in collaboration with the Goethe Institut, London.
This Home User licence enables children and their families to learn German together - Kleinbrücken uses 3D graphics and interactive games of the kind children are used to playing at home on popular games consoles.
There are also specially written songs to enjoy, a series of everyday conversations into which children can record their own voice and, as an added extra, once the activities are completed, you can enter an exciting adventure game - set on an alien planet!
Kleinbrücken matches the areas that children are covering at school - the QCA Scheme of Work, the MFL Framework for KS2 and the 5-14 Guidelines.
This package will bring learning German to life with stunning games-console-quality Virtual Reality graphics. Children can explore the little town of Kleinbrücken and meet Domino the Dog, the children and all their friends. The CD-Rom provides the building blocks of language learning with a multitude of practice activities. As children succesfully progress through the activites, they are rewarded by the program opening up new levels of an exciting 3D Adventure Game!
Users can interact with the characters, play an adventure game and do more than 60 fun activities to help them learn German. There is also an opportunity to practice speaking exercises.

This package is intended for use with KS2 children (7 - 11) who are starting to learn German. Kleinbrücken is suitable for use with complete beginners.
