I recently took a 2006 edition of this book and CD out of the library and my son, who is nearly 2 really loved it and sings along with many of the songs in the car. I didn't realise when purchasing this copy that it was in fact a French version, and as such, didn't have the English words in the back (unlike the one from the library). Although I speak French, it was more than a little useful at times to be able to read the English, and I'm sure this would be even more so for somebody who has very little knowlege of French but who is using it alongside their children to learn. The content, however, is great. excellent purchase for beginners
